GIVING users A REASON TO OPT INto Wayfair Push Notifications
Originally, the push notification primer for the Wayfair app was not enticing. The copy was too long and got lost in the design, so customers didn't know why they should opt in for push notifications.
I updated the copy and made some design recommendations to make this page easier for customers to scan. As a result, we were able to increase the percentage of customers opting into push notifications.
Before: Our push notification primer was difficult to read, and therefore did not clearly tell customers why they should opt into push notifications.
After: Our push notification primer is easier to scan and better communicates the value to customers.
